Was Britain Justified in Supporting the USA in the Iraqi Conflict?



Great Britain played an important role within the Iraqi conflict, however many countries disagreed with Britain’s intervention and felt that since Iraq posed no immediate threat towards other countries, it was unnecessary to wage war upon the nation. Britain and the USA believed that Saddam Hussein was in possession of weapons of mass destruction and that he intended to use them for terrorist acts, which would cause chaos worldwide.
The majority of the British public were against the war in Iraq, because the many weapons inspectors sent to Iraq to search out the weapons of mass destruction ...
