Dorothy Umber is the Shire Medical Officer for Wallbury Shire. Amongst her duties is the immunisation of children. In the past she has kept all her immunisation records on sheets in her office. However, the local schools now require a copy of the immunisation record when students are enrolled in preps.
Dorothy has decided to get a notebook and printer, which she will carry around to the various community centres around the shire. This way she can record the immunisation and print an immunisation certificate on the spot. Her nurse, Glenda, will operate the notebook.
1 What is the system goal?
Dorothy is trying to replace her current paper recording (Pen Paper) system with an electronic based system (Laptop). Dorothy Umber is the Shire Medical Officer for Wallbury Shire who is trying to use her newly bought laptop as a replacement to keep all her immunisation records from enrolled Prep students & be able to print immunisation certificates on the spot.
