We were asked, in groups, to record a piece of music. My group consisted of Liam, Dave, Paul, and me.
The piece of music had to be at least two minutes long. Are aim was to make the best quality recording possible. This was to be achieved only by our choice and placement of microphones. We were not allowed to use any effects, EQ, dynamic processing etc.
Our recorded piece of music had to consist of at least four different instruments made up of the following,
· At least one collective instrument
· At least one vocal
· At least one acoustic instrument
· At least one amplified, miced up electric instrument
