Introduction

Computers have been around for a long time In fact one of the first computers developed was the Chinese Abacus. The Abacus was developed many centuries ago and, is still in use in many parts of the world today. A computer is a electronic machine capable of solving problems by processing or manipulating information according to instructions that have been given to it.

Ironically though, the security and luxury that is to be enjoyed with computing has risks. Computers can also be used for tutorial purposes when prior information has not been learned. Computers can develop students’ graphing skills, assist with science projects, and increase problem solving abilities. For some years now, colleges have been jumping on the "computer education" bandwagon in an attempt to provide extra resources to help improve student learning.
