Interpersonal Communication Self-Concept analysis

The process of communication is subjective and figurative. It is not a concrete progression, and it can vary greatly between situations. One person can completely change their communication style based off of the group they are around and the title they hold in a certain situation. Because of this, the perception one holds of herself or himself is built around a series of interactions in many different groups, and is centered around the multiple roles assigned to them. All aspects of communication are altered by changing roles. My self-concept has been created using the different communications I utilize when interacting as a daughter, a student, and as a friend. I will explore each of these roles, discuss how they have contributed to my self-concept, and explain the way my communication style changes between the three identities.
