1. The book I did my report on is called Incident at Hawk’s Hill by Allan W. Eckert. It was published by Little, Brown & Company in 1971.
2. The main characters in this book were Benjamin MacDonald, Esther and William MacDonald, John MacDonald, a female badger, and George Burton. Benjamin MacDonald is a six-year-old child that can communicate with animals. Esther and William MacDonald are Ben’s parents. John MacDonald is Ben’s brother. George Burton is a neighbor of the MacDonald’s. He is a trapper.
3. The book was a non-fictional story with slight fiction added in.
