In your opinion, what is the most important moral issue of our times?

Two of humanities most cherished and esteemed values are freedom and life; it is the thinking of few individuals who adhere to the intolerance of freedom as well as the opposition to life. Therefore, in my opinion, the most important moral issue of our times is in accordance to the justification of abortion, as it puts into contradiction the morality of freedom vs. life. There are two apparent sides to the issue: pro-choice and pro-life. A pro-choicer, as I am, would hold the belief that the abortion of a pregnancy is a choice to be made only by the woman. A pro-lifer beliefs that the proceeding the moment of conception the embryo or fetus is alive; it is our moral obligation to protect this life.
