For us the orders received by different firms always have a degree of uncertainty, because the client does not know the quantity nor the delivery date, and in many cases, he wants to postpone the final decision until the latest possible date.
All these variables (quantity of products, delivery date, possibility of making an order) are almost impossible to manage for manufacturing firms. As mentioned before, we think that fuzzy logic is the best form to manage uncertainty in all three variables....
