Imitation and Modeling

Children learn in many different ways. In this section, the author will discuss the role of imitation and modeling in learning socially desirable behavior. “Modeling and imitation learning is the method through which the majority of socially desirable behaviors are learned” (Khan & Cangemi, 2001, p. 41).
