Identity

“Identity,” both oddly moving and strangely compelling, is a thinking person’s thriller. It challenges the audience to wonder what is really going on. Is it a horror movie? Is it a murder mystery? Is it a psychological thriller? After seeing this movie, it was difficult to assign it to a specific genre.

The movie begins with a psychiatrist (Alfred Molina) doing his best to keep a convicted mass murderer (Pruitt Taylor Vince) from being executed by arranging a midnight hearing the night before the murderer’s scheduled execution.
