Idealistic Communism

Idealistic Communism
Communism is a theory which advocates a state of society in which there should be no private ownership, all property being vested in the community and labor organized for the common benefit of all members; the professed principle being that each should work according to his capacity, and receive according to his wants. (www.english.upenn.edu). This means no one owns property and they all work toward the common goal of the state. With communism everyone should be equal; there should be no division of classes.

That would lead one to believe that a communist government doesn’t allow anyone the freedom of speech. Although it is true that in the past and currently a communist society has infringed on their citizens’ rights, the association between communism and the restriction of free speech is disillusioned. This leaves Americans with a false sense of freedom. They seem to believe that freedom is the right to wave tiny flag...
