Everyone has a song that after they hear it once they find it replaying in their heads for no reasons at all. For my sister and her fiancé the song “I Knew I Love You” by Savage Garden happens to be the song. I did not know the song at that time so it made me wonder, “What’s so special about this song that made the two love birds pick it?” Surprisingly, when I, a person who rarely likes to listen to mushy love songs, got the chance to hear it, I got attached to the song. Was it the mellow tune, the sweet lyrics, or the high-pitched voice, which glued me to the song so much?
The song starts off with a constant beating of the bass drums, which continues to the end. The low beat reminds me of the throbbing of the heart, which makes it unforgettable.
