Hundred Years' War

The Hundred Years' War is one of the most famous wars that took place in Europe. The war lasted from 1337 until 1453 with the English and the French fighting against each other.
The Hundred Years' War started when Edward III, the English king, boldly sent a claim to the French throne. The French of course did not allow Edward III to become ruler of France, but instead chose Charles IV's cousin, Philip VI, to rule France.
