How to Change Your Motor Oil

You may have a car or drive a car, but you maybe don¡¯t know how to change your motor oil by yourself. You need to change your motor oil every 3,000 miles or every 3 months. However, you may want to do it more often if you've been driving in very hot or dusty conditions.
First you need get ready and prepare for change your motor oil. You need pair of gloves. This way you don't get oil on your hands or dirt under your fingernails. Wear old clothes to perform the oil change because no matter how careful you are, things tend to get dirty. And two jack stands to support the front of your car after jack it up. Of course a bottle of new motor oil, a socket set and oil drain pan. After you get your tools and materials you need run the car's engine for 10 minutes before you drain the oil.
