How to be a successful College Student

You’re sitting in your seat, waiting for the last bell to sound. The last thing on your mind is heading off to college, but instead it is on what to wear to the party tonight. The summer flies by with friends, maybe a summer job to fund all the activities that you partook in over the hot summer months. Then it hits you, I’m in college.
There are several key facts that go into being a good college student. Remember that you are off on your own so you need to learn to prioritize. Your time is your most valuable asset. When starting your first semester make sure not to overwhelm yourself. Take a light class load so that you have plenty of time to study and let’s face it, hang out with friends. You are in a new environment, away from parental units, and experimenting new things.
