Chapter 9


In the beginning of the chapter Simon is walking alone from the two groups of boys. He sees the dead pilot who apparently was the beast to Samneric, and now knows that truth that the beast is only within them and there is nothing on the island with them. In the two separated society’s Jack is having a gathering with his boys and eating the pigs and what is left. Piggy insists that Ralph and him go over there so they can have something to eat. When they arrive is starts to rain and get dark, and Ralph yells at Jack for not having any shelters....
