But the common characteristic of all sin is that it is against God’s Will. An example of this is in Genesis Chapter 3. Here Eve goes against God’s Will and disobeyed His command. That command was that no one should eat from the tree in the midst of the garden. She did eat and asked her husband to eat of the food also. In this occurrence, the serpent’s actions caused Adam and Eve to sin and be forced out of the garden. The serpent showed not type of harm or danger to her life or to the lives of her family. In doing so, she allowed him to communicate with her, fellowship with her, and to become her friend. Satan uses sin in our lives the same ...
