How Divorce Affects OffspringA Research Approach

I have always been fortunate not to go through the divorce of my parents. They have been happily married for 23 years. In recent years I have wondered why so many people who get married end up filing for divorce. My interest in this subject has stemmed from the hopes of one day getting marred and for seeing so many of my friends, and dance students whose parents are divorced, and how it has affected them. The book I chose to read is How Divorce Affects Offspring A Research Approach by Michael R. Stevenson and Kathryn N. Black. By reading this book I wanted to learn more about what impact divorce has on children today and to understand how they cope with something so influenceable to their life.
The subject of this book is how divorce affects children. The references show that the sources used for the research dated as far back as 1944 with a book by J. S. Plant titled Law and Contemporary Problems. The sources used to write this book were written from the years 1944 to 1993...
