HITLER'S IDEALS Government - In Hitler’s book Mein Kampf he describes the faults he sees in democracy, stating that democracy “sins against the basic aristocratic principle of Nature”. Hitler regards democracy as a flawed system because no one is responsible or accountable for the decisions made “of any real importance” - Hitler believes that “sooner will a camel pass through a needle’s eye than a great man be discovered by an election” even though the chances of electing a “genius” is slim the state does rarely produce a great statesman. In Hitler’s mind a great statesman will “rise above the norm: and announce himself as leader rather than being discovered by an election.
