“The Perfect Storm”

In the movie The Perfect Storm, based on a true story, the six-man crew of the boat Andrea Gail departed from Glocester, Massachusettes in the Fall of 1991 and headed for the fishing grounds of the North Atlantic. Two weeks after their departure, an event took place which had never occurred in recorded history – a convergence of a thunderstorm and a hurricane. The clash of these two mighty forces created the most powerful storm in modern history.
