History of Disneyland

It all started with the vision of one man and a small, low budget production studio. Today, it’s a multibillion dollar corporation. The Disney Company has a range of businesses, from amusement parks to movies to cruise lines, even their own private island. It’s hard to understand just how large the Disney Co. really is. Today we’ll try to understand it a little more by learning about how the Disney Studios started and what it has become today.
Walter Elias Disney was a young man when he first dreamed of starting his own production company. Little did he know that his visions would become the huge part of our society they are today. His first dream was to start what he called Disneyland. It was the late 1950’s when Disneyland was actually opened.
