I liked Larry LaSalle because he helped the kids when he reopened the wreck center. At the same time I don't like Larry LaSalle because he rapped young girls. He started out as a great friend of young people but later in the story we learned that he was only hanging out with them to get to the girls. I would recomend that teenages read this book because it deals with alot of early relationship issues. I would not recomend this book to younger audiences because I don't think they would be able to relate to all of the issues that are addressed in the story.
Francis Cassavant was a very shy and reserved seventh grade student at St. Jude's Parochial School when one day he saw the girl who would change his life forever, Nicole Renard.
