Hermes

Hermes, the messenger of Zeus, had a very interesting life. He is one of the most popular gods because of his statue in every gymnasium throughout Greece. His statue is also at the entrance of the stadium in Olympia. Hermes is a highly-developed god with cunningness. He is the Master of thieves but was liked by most people. Hermes invented many things throughout his life. Even before he was a day old. The Greek post office also has Hermes as its official symbol. As a person Hermes was connected to many items, has many jobs, has offsprings, and was a bright god.
Hermes has many physical features that was special to him. There was always three things that he was associated with. This is shown by stating, “He wears winged sandals, a winged hat, and carries a musical wand” (Hermes). Hermes is most known for his winged sandals.
