Hamlet's success in completing his fathers goals

In the play Hamlet, the main character is set with a dilemma on how he should avenge his father’s death. Hamlets succeeds in following the ghost’s steps but not with out the loss of all that he loves. The three tasks that his father’s ghost gave him were to kill his uncle, not to go insane over killing him, and to leave his mother to heaven.
Through out the play, Hamlet had many chances to kill the king. The only step he needed to take was to act on his impulse. As the king kneeled while praying, the young prince had the perfect chance to end his life. “Now might I do it
