Hades Lord of the Dead

Hades was the ancient Greek God of the dead. He was often portayed as a cold and heartless God who cared for none. Although he was often portrayed as heartless he was not cruel, in fact he was also known as Pluto, Lord of Riches. This was because people beleived that crops, precious jewls, and metals sprang up from the underworld as a gift to humans from Hades. He was said to reward the good and punish the bad and the wicked. All Gods were worshipped though Hades was only worshipped in Elis. no historians have found out why.
