Title: Changing Guitar Strings

Purpose: To inform my audience how to change a guitar string.

Thesis: Changing a guitar string involves three major steps.

Introduction:

I) Imagine it’s Saturday night and you and your friends are at a music concert. Suddenly the guitar player breaks a string in the middle of your favorite song. All seems to be lost, the ticket money and the evening. Not to mention the headache of getting the tickets. Or so you think.
a) Now you must be wondering how the show could possibly go on.
b) The answer is simple, someone in the production knew how to change a guitar string, and knew how to do it fast.
c) The importance of knowing how to change a guitar string cannot be emphasized enough.
d) Whether or not you play the guitar, you will be directly or indirectly effected by this process.
