We all live in this planet. Most of the time, we take for granted the good things we feel or see like beautiful plants and gardens; clean, refreshing air, the crystalline sea and the panoramic view of the mountains. To us, these creations have been there since time immemorial. We ignore them and take them as things as abundant and never diminishing.
But the truth is, everyday our environment is slowly deteriorating, as proven by the increasing size of Ozone Layer depletion. The Ozone Layer is the layer of the upper atmosphere where most atmospheric ozone is concentrated from about 8 – 30 miles or 12 to 48 kilometers above the Earth. Global environmentalists have put the latest estimate of ozone hole size at 28.3 million square kilometers--a new record (larger than the Philippines!).
