Green Acres

What strikes you about the home described in the ad?
After reading this ad by Chanin in the New York Times, a lot of the things they described in this house almost seemed too good to be true for a lot of Americans just coming out of a depression. A part of the ad that really stood out to me was the Hotpoint all-electric kitchen. The kitchen included a refrigerator, range, dishwasher, ventilating fan and washing machine, which are all included in the purchase price of $14,790.
Another thing about this ad that stood out to me was the way they designed the house. It includes some very luxurious and desirable attributes like a friendly entrance vestibule with guest closet, picture windows, front and rear, Venetian binds, china closet with service bar...
