GRAPHIC WAR IMAGES ON TV= GOOD/BAD?
I think it is good to show graphic war images, because it can help us to realize how serious the situation in Iraq is. But then again there is a time and place for those sorts of things. Prime time news is a very inappropriate position for something so serious and violent because children could be watching except if the war images were shown on the late news that would be better because usually children would be fast asleep. What I’m saying is that it’s okay for adults to view those sorts of things but for children its not suitable. It could cause mental trauma and nightmares and stuff like that.
