The speaker asserts that if one country want to preserve and generate its cultural traditions , the government should offer the financial support for the metropolises instead of the samll towns. I really agree with the speaker's statment. Only in cities , in particular in those major and big cities, nation's cultural traditions have kept and developped pretty well.
