Cereals, nuts and pulses are all rich sources. Green vegetables, pork, fruits and fortified cereals also contain Thiamin.

Lack of Thiamin will lead to a painful case of beriberi (nerve inflammation). Deficiencies are commonly found in alcoholics, so lay off the pop.
