God's Justice
As God said in Hebrews 10:30, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay, the Lord will Judge his people.” Here we read that God is the one who makes the decision if someone is evil or not. But our justice system should not kill those we subject to being guilty, but to protect the innocent from the wrongdoers. One example is, if we put criminals in jail rather than killing or torturing them, then in the end, God can truly judge them. When I was doing my research for this paper, I was looking through a concordinance and one thing that was very surprising to me was that there were 45 different scriptures that talked about God having vengeance on God’s enemies.
