Glacial Geology

Glacial geology is the study of glaciers, glacier moment and the change that glaciers have on there surroundings. A glacier is and an accumulation of ice, snow, water, rock and sediment that moves around based on gravity. Glaciers are common in most polar regions but they can also occur at extremely high altitudes. Glaciers are formed when snow falls on a glacier and accumulates.
