Girls and Boys

Good Charlotte sings, “Girls don’t like boys, girls like cars and money.” However, I beg to differ. I (being a girl) do happen to like boys, but not always as boyfriends. If life has taught me anything about the opposite sex, it’s that they make really good friends.
Seeing as how I’ve been at Sacred Hearts Academy for 13 years, most people think, or assume, that I only have girl friends. On the contrary however, it seems to me that I actually may have more guy friends than some of my other (girl) friends do. I’ve grown up with a handful of guys from church and our relationships go beyond our common beliefs in religion.
My Sunday school teacher told me one day, “In my youth group, we all went out with each other and nobody had a problem with it.” While most of us haven’t gone out with each other, some have, we are all still friends. We hang out on the weekends at the beach or one...
