Girl Scouting

As a Girl Scout, I have participated in many extra curricular activities and service projects through the years. My favorite project, the Gold Award Project, changed my outlook on life. Ideas for my project started when I met a young unmarried woman, age 17, who had two children. This young woman was forced to move out of her house because of her mother’s continued drug use, which resulted in emotional and physical abuse towards the children.
