Introduction

In biology, there are many amazing animals. One of the most fascinating is the Gila Monster. Some of the things that I will talk about in this paper are the Gila Monster’s behavior, habitat and food. The Gila Monster got its name from the Gila River Basin where it can commonly be found. The Gila Monster is the only venomous lizard in North America and one of only two venomous lizards in the entire world. The other poisonous lizard is the Mexican Beaded Lizard of Mexico and Guatemala. It is also the largest lizard that is native to the United States. This is one thing that makes it one of the most amazing lizards on Earth.
