Getting Accepted into College

Its all about giving and taking. And not just in relationships, its life’s motto. I already know what I will be offered during my university experience and what I want to take from it, but what do I have to give in return? I have a strong, influential personality, a powerful mind, an intrinsic love for interacting and debating with people, a desire to experience and learn new things, and, most importantly, controversial beliefs and a unique cultural background. Not a bad bargain in my opinion.
As an Arab American, I have experienced a lot of change. Being from Egypt originally, and having spent the first six years of my life in America and the rest of my life in Kuwait, I have yet to define my “home.” Diversity has become a way of life for me and I have acquired a strong affinity for challenges, and setting high standards and achieving them.
