Gentlehands

The characters that appealed to me are Frank and Buddy because they
got along so well and they barely knew each other. One event that I enjoyed
is when Buddy's mother went to eat dinner with her father (Frank), and they
saved the racoon that was in the trap with a broken leg. Skye Pennington
and Billy Boyles were the characters that did not appeal to me. I did not
like it when the dog was killed by the towns people or when I found out that
Frank was the German Nazi known as Hentlehands.
I believe that this book is for an audience around the age of fifteen to
seventeen because M. E. Kerr wrote about events that they can relate to.
Younger children should not read this book because it has scenes that are
