Gawain and resistance

In Sir Gawain and the Green Knight the writer conveys a message that resistance is futile through Gawain’s actions in his bedchamber and through what happened to the animals that were being hunted in the forest. When the animals were being hunted, the lord took every precaution to make sure the animals would not die, as can be seen through the dogs and the archers brought on the expedition.
