What are the limits technology allows mankind to reach? In the film Gattaca, directed by Andrew Niccoi, individuals are genetically engineered to fit the “perfect” being. Unfortunately, Vincent was born as a normal child and was predetermined to live 30.2 years with 89%heart failure and ADD. This limited his capabilities as an adult and predicted his future solely based on genetics.
