Gatsby the Great

It’s interesting how a novel can be interpreted through so many different perspectives. Many of the people who read this novel arrive with so many different understandings of what the novel in its entirety was trying to convey. With all the focus of the main message aside, let’s look past all of that to see the form in which it was written. Much like “The Diamond As Big As The Ritz” by F. Scott Fitzgerald “The Great Gatsby” was also written by him in the same fairy tale like fashion. The comparison of this novel to the world imaginative world of fairy tales will be the focus of this essay.

Gatsby is portrayed as a very mysterious character to provoke the reader to try and understand the train of thought one such as himself maybe, which in term makes the reader to a certain extent like Gatsby.
