GATSBY

The Great Gatsby is a novel written by F. Scott Fizgerald. Fitzgerald story analyzes an critiques the society itself of the 20’s, a society based on appearances, finding a way a fur fill one’s desires of succeeding no matter the situation.
Their only dream of the 20’s people was money. Money to make them felt powerful, to get some respect and popularity. That was the mentality that ruled on this decade and this is what the author of the book critiques, this is why he based his characters on wealthy people around their 30’s years old because this were the kind of people who persuade this kind of goals.
In his novels and short stories Fitzgerald chronicle the excesses of American’s Jazz Age during the 1920 maybe influenced by the rich life of endless parties he had with his wife and the fairly well-to-do family in which he was born
The story it’s about two lovers separated by war and exigencies of society governed by money. They found each other years later , the problem...
