Frontline is a satire comedy, ridiculing commercial television current affairs programs well-known to viewers by verifying the fact that media programs create rather than report news through a number of ways which make it more appealing to a target audience, with the ultimate aim of securing higher ratings over rival networks, rather than reporting on major social issues of the day. This is done so through a number of ways, namely through technological manipulation, creating drama in a story through emotional manipulation and exploiting authority figures to promote the point of view of Frontline.
