Freud

Sigmund Freud (1856 – 1939)
I chose to write about Sigmund Freud because of his controversial beliefs. I agree with some of Freud’s theories, but some, I do not. When I write about Freud, I will discuss his theories.
Freud subdivided the mind into levels of consciousness. The conscious level is where we think. Anything that is thought, perceived, or understood resides in this level. The level below this is the pre-conscious level. This is where memories and thoughts that are easily recalled into the conscious level are stored.
