Frequency film review

a) What message is the filmmaker trying to communicate?
Gregory Hoblit, the filmmaker of Frequency, has many things to say about the sequence of events in life. Hoblit is clearly trying to convey to his audience that things in life happen for a reason, good and/or bad, and when we change the sequence of events, there are major repercussions that can and will change everything in and around the lives of all those affected by the events. This is a complicated notion, made clear by a complicated story and a complicated film. But, Hoblit pulls it off, and lets his audience know that life is delicate, and whoever determines what should happen in the lives of the people on earth (God) is a force that shouldn’t be reckoned with.
I believe that one of Hoblit’s messages is specifically about God, though this message can be interpreted for any belief system. There is a force somewhere in the universe, and this force has the power to make people happy, and also to destroy their live...
