“Get off of me!!!” I cried in a desperate muffle as my older sister unrelentingly sat on top of me holding my nose and mouth closed to hide my desperate cries to my mom for help. This is just one of the many incidents I clearly remember from growing up with my sister Jackie. Only four years older than me, I looked up to her as some sort of idol- I loved all the things she loved and tried to imitate everything she did and believed.
