Freedom of Choice

Abortion has been an issue of controversy for decades. Pro choice means supporting a woman’s right to make decisions about their pregnancy. Pro life means other people have made that decision for you. Right now a woman’s right to choose is being threatened. Everyday republicans get one step closer to outlawing abortion.
In this exploratory essay I decided to find for myself what I, morally, think is the answer, before President Bush tells me what to think. This is an important issue that will never have a happy ending. Abortion may not be something you’ll ever need to consider, but I think it should be an option for those who would choose that route. Many religions oppose other religions, but that is no reason to try to outlaw them. Who, other than yourself, can decide what is ethically right for someone to do. Each individual needs to have the right to choose.
