Forgotten Fire by Adam Bagdasarian

Adam Bagdasarian wrote Forgotten Fire after hearing his great-uncle speak of his experience of the Armenian Genocide in 1915. He also wrote a short story “The Survivor” on the same topic that won the Yankee magazine’s Fiction Award. Bagdasarian resides in New York City and has written several other novels after his first of Forgotten Fire.

Vahan Kenderian is the youngest son of one of the most influential families in Turkey. He lived the life that every person dreamed about. Everyday, he would walk into a house that was filled with laughter and the presence of his brothers and sisters. Vahan thought his life would always be that way until the day of the Armenian Genocide.
