Foreshadowing in "Heart of Darkness"

In his novel "Heart of Darkness." Joseph Conrad hints at future events through the use of foreshadowing. He uses the history of his home to foreshadow the darkness of Africa. Conrad also hints at the fate of Kurtz though additional comments that may sound like ramble to the reader, but in reality are telling us what will happen in the novel. Through these methods, Joseph Conrad's style of forshadowing is clearly shown.
