Foreign Policy vs. Domestic Policy

In the study of policy formulation, we should never lose sight of a basic tenet. The processes by which various regimes arrive at foreign and domestic policies have been historically determined into the forms we are familiar with today. The evolutionary processes have created a framework in which we must operate and adjust to the changing conditions as they arise. As generational time progresses, concepts such as power are defined and redefined so that what was once in vague has now become obsolete. As regards to the state in the international political system, the purpose of this paper is to examine and define foreign and domestic policy and their interrelationships in the complexities of the modernized world.
